Programmes in petrol fumes for 12-200 participants
In this most popular programme of ours, the guests can gain insight into the world of driving off-road vehicles, quads, and try and drive heavy duty vehicle specialities as well.
After the guests arrive, we form teams who will visit the different locations one by one. Each team will collect points at the locations, based on their performance, where losing points is also possible. At the end of the day when the programme finishes, we announce the final results.
Locations:
Off-road driving training track: On our driving training track it is possible to experience the obstacles that await drivers once they leave the paved roads behind. Steep hills, slanting banks, water ditch that pose a problem any time if the driver does not possess the necessary skills. Our guests will drive the off-road vehicles, but with the assistance of experienced instructors, in order to maintain safety.
Forest Taxi: In the nearly 30 hectare forest of the Off-road Centrum there is a specially designed network of roads where it is possible to experience the adventure of off-road driving in a real life situation. The cars are driven by our qualified instructors, and the ride holds some truly extreme situations for the passengers.
Quad: We provide opportunity to try and drive a quad on the specially designed trial track, that is becoming more and more popular. After learning about the basics, you drive along the track, overcoming obstacles made of wood and metal. Learning to drive a quad is easy and the experience will be a long lasting memory.
QuadChallange: On a special section of the track the participants have the opportunity to try themselves again in their skills. It is a specially hilly section for a quad, where you can discover the special off-road abilities of these vehicles, but also the skills of the participants.
Heavy duty machinery-farm: On our heavy duty machinery farm our guests can meet a real unique vehicle. With the mini front-end shovel loader they have to complete a track, which may not look easy at first sight, however, due to the special steering system it is not impossible.
4x4 trial and car soccer: At this location there are surprising tasks to complete. Here the guests can try driving blindfolded. During the task, the drivers eyes are covered, and has to follow the directions given by the team mate on the passenger seat. It is interesting to experience how much the dimensions change when we loose our most important sense, vision, and we have to trust our companion sitting next to us.
This station is also the place for the free kicks for the teams with their car. The goal is only twice the size of the ball, therefore this task is a real challenge to everyone. The most points go to the team which manages the most goals from the twenty trials. Naturally every team member must have a go at the free kick!
Double Trabant: The teams can try a true speciality at this location!
The double Trabant, equipped with two engines and two steering wheels must be driven on a narrow track, signalled by buoys, where the co-operation of the drivers is inevitable in order to successfully complete the task. Each participant may try the forward and reverse movement.
Crazy Wagen: From the spring of 2016 you can try our new and very interesting car if you come and visit the Off-road Centrum. This ageing Volkswagen may look like an average everyday Golf but its meagre looks conceal a very special vehicle. For many it is strange that the car has its steering wheel on the right, but the extra is that we have swapped the steering of the car. If you turn the wheel to the right, the car moves to the left, and if you steer left, the car turns right.
The teams have to drive along a trial track with this strange machine, which will prove wonderful entertainment for everybody.
